I’m just proud and I want everyone to see,” Toni said.

Toni shared that her dad’s interest in sewing began around 5 years ago when he began making curtains and bedsheets for their house. But the TLE teacher at Francisco G. Nepomuceno Memorial High School in Citicenter, Pandan, Angeles City would soon upgrade his creates when Toni had “nothing to wear” for her prom back in 10th grade.

I was in 10th grade, it was prom season when he made his first gown. I had nothing to wear, I never saw a gown I liked so I asked him if he can make me one,” Toni shared.

The dress was a success! Not only did Toni look gorgeous in her dad’s creation, she also felt like royalty in the gown and went on to win the title as Prom Queen!

Toni hopes that when she graduates from college, her dad would finally see his dream of opening a dress shop become a reality.

He does these gowns and dresses po simply because he wants us to be happy and confident especially with what we wear. And kasi he loves us and can’t say no to our requests,” Toni shared.
