Anak: Sige tay hatid mo na ko. Pagkatapos ko sa school, Tulungan kita magtinda ha. Sana maubus lahat para marami tayong pera.

While it was just a simple conversation between this dad and his daughter, it held so much love that the story would resonate across the internet. In just 2 weeks, the photo had garnered more than 101k reactions and over 31k shares on Facebook!
Teacher Geli was rather surprised that the post went viral but said that perhaps netizens also felt what she must have felt when she saw these two and heard their conversation.
With the help of other netizens who had an idea where she could find this dad and his daughter, Teacher Geli went to Kadiwa Hypermarket to find them. She discovered that the family lives at the back of the store, and this dad’s name is Tatay Crisanto.

Tatay Crisanto had five children whom he supported by selling candies and other goods. Meanwhile, his kids help him earn money by selling rags. Despite their difficult situation, the family lives a happy life – and this made a lot of netizens happy. Teacher Geli said that she admired this family; though she also took pity of their situation.
“Mayroon po silang simpleng buhay kung saan kuntento naman silang namumuhay ng masaya. Minsan, Mas okay pa talaga yung mga ganitong tao kaysa sa mga taong may pera nga pero punong puno naman ng kalungkutan at sama ng loob,” Teacher Geli wrote.
Because she felt like crying as she talked with the family, the teacher was not able to gather a lot of information. However, she promised to extend help to the family and to assist netizens who might want to send donations for Tatay Crisanto as a number of people have already sent her a message asking how they can help.
Thanks to this teacher, this family could enjoy some comfort in the coming days…
