Student Praised as He Sells Coffee to Classmates for Extra Cash

In a country where millions are living in poverty, there are so many parents who could not afford to send their children to school – even if public schools are supposed to be free. After all, though they don’t have to pay for tuition fees, the kids still need a lot of things such as bags and other school supplies, allowance for food, money for fare and projects, uniforms, and other stuff!

Sadly, a lot of students had to quit school, not just because they can’t afford the things needed for their studies but also because they need to help their parents earn money for the family. This is the reason why people greatly admire those poor folks who manage to persevere and find ways to solve their situation without quitting.

Yung classmate mong may matinding pangangailan at the same time napupunan din yung pangangailangan nyo 😅💖,” Aldreen wrote.

Each day, Paulo brings a thermos filled with hot water, some sachets of coffee, Styrofoam cups, and stirrers to sell coffee to the class.

While some questioned why this young man was allowed to do this during class hours, a lot of people greatly admired Paulo for doing his best to earn some cash to support himself in school.

Placing a sign outside the room meant Paulo was able to attract customers from other classrooms. Soon, he would add a new sign to his post, “Out of stock”! It was admirable that he is doing his best to help himself have money for school – a number of netizens believe he would have a bright future if he continues to have this mindset.
