A pair of twins named Jollibee and McDonald recently went viral for their unique names as netizens just could not believe that they would be given these names! Although these are household names that everyone has most certainly heard of, it is rare for people to have these as first names.
The twins went viral after the story of their unique names was shared on social media by Mark Lester Andrei Cruzet, a family friend.
According to Mark Lester, twins Jollibee and McDonald Pangindian are the children of his school paper adviser back in his elementary years, Ma’am Evelyn Pangindian.

“Kasi si kuya mo (asawa ni Ma’am) ‘yung uniqueness of the name at art of remembering, once na nalaman (‘yung names ng kambal) anjan agad ung natutuwa sila at madali nilang matandaan name nila,” Mark Lester recalled his adviser telling him.
As he narrated the twins’ unique names, Mark Lester also praised their kindness and told of how the family had ‘adopted’ him. They became his second family after he experienced trouble at home. They welcomed him at home, provided him a place to stay during those troubled moments in his youth, and supported him financially.

“I am grateful dahil alam kong bukod sa sarili kong pamilya, may iba pa akong kikilalaning pamilya sa ibang tahanan. I am blessed beyond measure for finding a family away from our home,” Mark Lester shared.
“Love ko ‘tong family na ito, dahil sa kanila, bida ang saya.”
He congratulated the two, joking that he wished his adviser would treat him to Jollibee and McDonald’s! LOL.
