They shared everything even before birth as triplets, but they would amaze everyone when they all graduated from college as cum laude before passing the Agriculture Board Exam together.
The triplets identified as Jack, Ace, and King Pagaran from Santa Maria in Claveria, Cagayan, shared identical looks, but it was surprising that all of them would choose the same course. Aren’t they tired of being just about the same? LOL. Just kidding! These three share a face and are set to share their success as they passed everything together, earning their license at the same time, for the same profession.
It was in 2018 when the Pagaran triplets first went viral, inspiring netizens when they completed their agriculture degree at the Provincial Technical Institute of Agriculture (PTIA) at Isabela State University Cabagan Campus, all receiving the honor of cum laude.
The triplets’ triple victory was repeated as they all pass the Agriculture board exam together last November 2019. They were among the 5,538 passers out of 13,492 examinees.
Life was hard for the triplets and their family, but they found help in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). The family impressed everyone with their success that they became the representatives of Santa Maria for the Search for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program of DSWD in the provincial level.
“Ang nagmotivate po talaga sa amin para makapagtapos ay ang mga magulang namin kasi ginagawa nila ang lahat para mapag-aral lang kami. Kahit walang-wala na talaga sila, gumagawa pa din sila ng paraan kagaya ng mangungutang sila mga relatives namin at magbebenta ng kahoy na panggatong,” shared Jack.
According to Jack, their parents Leliza and Sonny worked hard to send them to school. Sometimes, their parents had to borrow money from relatives and friends. They also sold their farm land for the triplets, but are now set to live a better life as the three have all found jobs.
Jack works at the Department of Agriculture (DA) Region 2 while Ace and King are employees of DA Nueva Vizcaya.
