Teachers are not just mentors, many are also second parents to the students!
One teacher in Malaysia proved this by buying a new set of school uniform and a pair of brand new shoes for a student who struggles to walk in baggy pants and oversized shoes – and he’s not even in his class! Impressive, isn’t it?

Mohd Nasir Mohd Zain is a teacher at a school in Sungai Petani, Malaysia.
One day, he noticed a Grade 3 student struggling across the school yard, dragging his feet as he walked. Curious, the teacher observed the student and noticed that his hand was holding his pants in place, knowing the baggy old uniform could fall to his feet if he didn’t do it.

Taking pity on the student, the teacher asked him for more information. He learned that the kid was wearing his older brother’s uniform and shoes. The older brother was in Grade 6; thus, the shoes and uniform were just too large for this Grade 3 kid.

“I asked him why was he walking like that. He told me that he couldn’t walk properly because his shoes were too big for him. I could fit three fingers in the space in his shoes,” Zain shared.

Being a teacher, Zain does not have a lot of money, but he knew that this kid’s attendance and even his performance in school could be greatly affected by the fact that he didn’t have proper clothes and shoes to wear. He might get embarrassed after getting teased by his classmates, leading him to skip school.

So, the kind teacher decided to buy this kid a proper uniform. He asked permission from the principal to bring the kid to the next town, Kepala Batas, where he bought the kid a new pair of shoes that fit him this time, plus uniforms that the boy didn’t need to tie at the waistline just to fit his small body!

Needless to say, the kid was ecstatic with the teacher’s gift – and netizens praised this kind teacher for his inspiring deed. Kudos, Sir!
