Let’s face it: a lot of students actually cheat, mostly because they are afraid of failing and getting bad grades. That can be a huge headache for teachers, especially because it gets hard to find ways to stop the students from cheating.
That’s why one teacher was quite happy and appreciated his student’s honest excuse letter for failing in the exams instead of cheating – and the letter would quickly go viral, earning this teacher praise for accepting the excuse letter. The unnamed student also earned admiration for his honesty and integrity! EQ definitely wins over IQ!

In his post on Facebook, teacher Rinzie Vargas, a Senior High School and College Instructor at ACLC College of Mabalacat, shared a photo of the excuse letter.
First thing po pinost po ko tong papel ng bata kasi nabigla po ako at naantig sa ginawa nyang sulat imbes na sagutan ang mga katanungan ko. VALUES is more important than having a HIGH GRADES with me. Persepsyon ko po yon, yun po ako.
Pangalawa po, wala po sya nung araw na naglelesson kami, and snabihan ko din ang mga iba na mag-aral, di ko lang alam kung nakarating sa kanya na magkakaroon sila ng pagsusulit.
Pangatlo, hindi niya hinayaan ang kanyang sarili na tignan ang kanyang kwaderno, sa halip inisip na magsabi ng katotohanan sapagkat hindi nga namn nya talaga masagutan ang aking mga katanungan.
Let’s just appreciate this post po. Nakakatuwa lang kasi sa tinagal tagal ng panahong nag eexam kami, ngayon lang siya nag-iwan ng mensaheng ganito.
Nakakatuwang isipin lamang na may ganito pa palang imahe ang bawat mag-aaral.

Additional infos, naaksidente po yung bata kaya hindi nakapasok, and hindi ko alam that time na may nangyari palang ganon sa kanya. Lately ko lang nalaman, during that time kasi sila ay mag ququiz, so please understand the situation.
UPDATE: Just to make things clear po sa lahat, nag-usap na po kami ng studyante ko, I will give him a special exam with this matter. Atleast he will take time to review, I will update you po kung ano ang result.
