Dear Education students:

Below is the struggle you have to prepare for…

One photo shows a group sleeping on the floor, with lots of paperwork still unfinished. Some laptops and coffee cups can be seen on the floor as the students tried their best to stay awake while working on their projects, to no avail.

In another photo, a young student has fallen asleep in class. While some joked that she is definitely a teacher whose students had left her alone in the room, the reality is that this young student had probably spent the entire night working on papers.

The rest of the pictures show students working on their visual aid, most likely for a final demo in class. Scattered on the floor are piles of cartolina, bond paper, cut outs, boxes, and some completed work. It is obvious that these students had already spent hours on creating these cutouts and other visual aid, yet they still have plenty more to make!

Some netizens commented that these education students are “not using their brains” as there are already options for powerpoint and computer-produced materials. However, others pointed out that in most places in the Philippines, teachers don’t have access to projectors for powerpoint presentations – and many schools don’t even have electricity, especially in hinter barangays!

A lot of teachers don’t have laptops or access to computers, too. Thus, it is still very important for them to know the basics. Plus, going through this process hones their skills and makes them better teachers. Do you agree, teachers?

Juggling Different Subjects in School

A lot of education students might also experience the dilemma of spending too much time on their major subjects — but there remains the need to also get good grades on their other subjects as well! Time management is the key to finding success in school as you juggle different subjects along with your majors.

Does that mean that education students can’t also have time for love? Awwwww. Well, that’s still possible. But make sure to find a boyfriend or girlfriend who is supportive of your studies. Better yet, show them these pictures to give them an idea of what they should expect in the future… Good luck!
